Aberdaron in
situated in an area of outstanding views and beautiful countryside at the tip of
the Llyn Peninsula in north-west Wales.
On a clear day, you can see Snowdon
and the mountains of Snowdonia, Anglesey, the whole of Cardigan Bay as far south
as Newquay and even the Wicklow mountains of Ireland.
Car
Aberdaron is easily
found by car. Visitors from the north west of England follow
the A55 along the north coast of Wales to Bangor and then either the
A487 to Pwllheli, followed by the A497 to Llanbedrog and the B4413 to
Aberdaron or the A487 to the roundabout at Glan-rhyd, followed by the
A499 to just before Llanaelhaearn, then turn right onto the B4417 to
Penygroeslon and then right onto the B4413 to Aberdaron.
Visitors
from central or southern parts of England can either head
north and join the A55 as above, or come via Llangollen on the A5,
and either take the A494 to Bala and the A4212 over to Trawsfynydd,
A470 & A487 to Porthmadog, or carry on to Betws-y-Coed and then take
the A470 to join the A487 to Porthmadog and on to Pwllheli on the A497, then
as above.
